One of our favourite return clients approached us to give the top storey of their townhouse a revamp.
The layout was two bedrooms, an ensuite & bathroom, but with a powder room downstairs, the floor space was better used for them as a third bedroom.
We reworked the layout; removed the second bathroom, created a new bedroom, moved doorways, renovated the existing ensuite into a family bathroom & added some new joinery on the landing.
The inspiration for the bathroom was centred around the stunning spearmint mosaic tiles.
Accented with black fittings and birch-ply joinery the result is playful yet sophisticated.
We mirrored the black framed, fluted glass on the shower screen with the cavity sliding entrance door, to increase the natural light in the room.
The fresh and fun palette is the perfect example of how to use colour in a bathroom without being overpowering.
The cute joinery addition on the landing was created in an oak veneer to match the new bedroom doors and houses the hot water system and data services, as well as a laundry hamper.
