When engaged for a project, we can also take care of the finishing touches that complete your home, including custom joinery, flooring, painting, lighting, and even replacing windows and doors.

While we don’t build extensions, we expertly rework the existing footprint of your home to better suit your lifestyle. This can include layout changes such as moving internal walls, repositioning doors and windows, and reimagining how your spaces flow. It’s all about making your home more functional, more beautiful, and better suited to modern living.

It depends on the scope of your renovation. For smaller projects, or if you’re only renovating a single area like a kitchen or bathroom – and you have alternative facilities available – it may be possible to remain in your home.

However, if your renovation includes multiple key areas, structural changes, flooring, or painting throughout the house, moving out temporarily is often the more convenient (and less stressful) option. Some clients choose to align their renovation with a holiday to minimise disruption – a great benefit of working with a full-service builder who can manage everything while you’re away.

We’re experienced in working in occupied homes and always take care to minimise impact wherever possible. That said, it’s important to acknowledge that renovations are inherently disruptive – but with the right planning and team, the process becomes far more manageable.

Most home remodeling renovations for bathrooms and kitchens take around 6 weeks to complete, though this can vary depending on the scope of work and your product selections. Some items — like custom shower screens or stone benchtops — are measured after key milestones such as tiling or cabinetry installation, and require additional production lead times.

For larger renovations that involve multiple spaces or more complex work, the timeline can extend up to 12 weeks. We’ll always provide a clear project schedule upfront, so you know exactly what to expect — and when.

Makeover – from $40,000

An entry price point for a small kitchen renovation which will follow the same layout in a melamine finish with tiled splashback (excluding appliances).

Mid Range – from $50,000

This will suit a medium kitchen in many homes with melamine joinery & stone benchtop & some minor layout changes (excluding appliances).

Designer – from $60,000

This opens up choice in finishes such as vinyl, painted or veneer joinery & natural stone or porcelain benchtops & splashbacks.

You will also be able to consider layout changes, integrated appliances & premium interior fittings & colours (excluding appliances).

We can discuss any multiroom, structural works or additional services to further establish an estimated budget on your project.

Makeover – from $40,000

An entry price point for a smaller bathroom renovation which will follow the same layout with minimal tiling & basic fittings (includes fixtures & tiles).

Mid Range – from $50,000

A popular choice for many homes with more options such as minor layout changes, larger showers, wall storage, further tiling & mid-level fittings (includes fixtures & tiles).

Designer  – from $60,000

This is where you can add luxuries such as undertile heating, more extensive or feature tiling, layout changes, premium joinery & fittings (includes fixtures & tiles).

Makeover – from $25,000

An entry price point for a small laundry renovation which will follow a similar layout with joinery in a melamine finish & tiled splashback (excluding appliances).

Mid Range – from $40,000

A medium laundry fit out with melamine joinery & timber benchtop and some fittings such as hampers or hanging rails (excluding appliances).

Designer – from $50,000

Larger spaces with extra storage such as coat hanging, drying areas or seating and further choice in joinery materials & benchtops or feature splashbacks (excluding appliances).

Our trade relationships give us access to various discounts for items such as appliances, tiles, tapware & fittings.

Choosing The Inside Project means you will have access to these discounts within your project contract.
