Client: Williamstown Kitchen
Designer: Rachael Turner
The original floor plan of this townhouse had a small U shaped kitchen with laundry opening off the hallway. Storage was limited and floor space was overused in what is a small area.
Our solution was to move the laundry into the bathroom and use this space as a butler’s pantry. By closing the hallway door and creating a new walk through into the pantry instantly created another working and storage space complete with second sink.
An open island bench doubles as a table for four and allows a line of sight through to open up the space.
The fridge and dishwasher are integrated for simplicity and the cabinetry packed with internal drawers and organisers to give maximum efficiency.
The ensuite for this home is also featured in our bathroom gallery.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
After downsizing to a smaller home, I was really worried about how the family was going to cope with a small kitchen, ensuite etc. Thanks to The Inside Project for their innovative design and quality work, we now have a usable and modern Kitchen & Ensuite which I and the family absolutely love and enjoy using.
