The brief for this lovely solid brick Edwardian home was to create an ensuite from the existing downstairs bathroom whilst allowing for storage in the adjacent master bedroom and not compromising the available floor space.
New doorways were created, an entire wall of new joinery was installed, existing openings were closed and plumbing relocations were required to accommodate this project.
The ensuite is revealed through a timber grained ‘walk through’ via the newly designed built in wardrobes. A hidden space that is not visible from the bedroom once the doors are closed.
Once you step through the ensuite, the one tile blurs the borders of space and amplifies the simplicity of the elegant palette. Touches of timber grain in the long double vanity unit and the walk through, add warmth to the space whilst the brushed nickel tapware almost disappears into the wall.
A large walk in shower sits at the end of the room, an abundant 2400mm long double vanity unit allows for ample storage along with matching width recessed wall cabinets and the toilet remans in its existing position.
The finished result is a luxurious and inviting ensuite where pampering beckons. Your own secret hideaway where you can leave the stresses of the day behind you.
